Founded in 1971, "Floricica de la Munte" Folkloric Ensemble has become one of the most important preservers of traditional Romanian culture. During the last four decades, the Ensemble crossed Europe, carrying with it the beauty of Romanian dances, songs and costumes. Whether they came to the Romanian, French or Turkish audiences, the Romanian dancers have become remarkable by the originality and authenticity of the repertoire composed of representative dances for all ethno-folkloric areas of Romania. They have impressed the audience in France, Italy, Poland, Greece, Egypt, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Austria, Finland, Belgium or the Netherlands through the charm and beauty of folk costumes, virtuosity, rhythm and accuracy of interpretation.
