"Cătina lui Bicu" is a family business from cultivation to processing, which set out to highlight the healing power of nature by producing natural juices. The sea buckthorn is cultivated on an area of 5 ha in the Târgu Neamț area, the plantation being certified as organic. The sea buckthorn saplings come from an ecologically certified plantation in Arad, from the Mara and Clara varieties. Fruit harvesting is followed by quick freezing, and juices are produced only when orders are taken. Sea buckthorn juice and syrup are obtained by cold pressing, without preservatives or additives, keeping intact the nutritional qualities of sea buckthorn berries. "Cătina lui Bicu" offers juice and syrup of sea buckthorn, produced only from sea buckthorn fruits with the addition of honey in different proportions, depending on preferences. New varieties include sea buckthorn and ginger syrup or sea buckthorn and aronia syrup. The honey and aronia used also come from local producers in Neamț. Cristina's homemade goodies Cristina's homemade goodies guarantee the quality of the products through a careful selection of the quality of fruits and vegetables, using only Romanian products. The vegetables in our homemade food products are grilled and cleaned with great care. Made from 100% natural ingredients, the fruits and flowers for the syrup are carefully selected, in the most favorable period to preserve their properties. Flavored and scented traditional sweets are the best way to satisfy your sweet cravings. Cristina and Daniel Socea, from Poloboc, Rediu village, work with passion to prepare culinary delights with the taste of the past. From meat dishes, pickles, sweets, bread or traditional drinks, everything is prepared with care, and most of the recipes come from an old cookbook from 1935, with delicacies that only nobles with wealth and they could afford them.   Everything is prepared with natural ingredients: meat from animals raised in freedom, fruits and vegetables from own production or from the villagers. They have over 100 products on offer, and those that require a long preparation and more special ingredients are only available in limited quantities.   They took gastronomy to the level of art and are now known throughout the country and even beyond the borders. They sold sarmale, brandy and other Romanian food products including in Japan, thus promoting authentic Romanian cuisine.   "Cristina's homemade goodies" products can be purchased online or from our own stores, the one in Piatra-Neamţ being on Bd. The list includes producers from all areas of the county that sell vegetables and fruits from their own production, dairy products, fresh meat and meat products, beekeeping products, preserves, homemade sweets and traditional drinks.
