Cătina lui Bicu

"Cătina lui Bicu" is a family business from cultivation to processing, which set out to highlight the healing power of nature by producing natural juices. The sea buckthorn is cultivated on an area of 5 ha in the Târgu Neamț area, the plantation being certified as organic. The sea buckthorn saplings come from an ecologically certified plantation in Arad, from the Mara and Clara varieties.

Fruit harvesting is followed by quick freezing, and juices are produced only when orders are taken. Sea buckthorn juice and syrup are obtained by cold pressing, without preservatives or additives, keeping intact the nutritional qualities of sea buckthorn berries.

"Cătina lui Bicu" offers juice and syrup of sea buckthorn, produced only from sea buckthorn fruits with the addition of honey in different proportions, depending on preferences. New varieties include sea buckthorn and ginger syrup or sea buckthorn and aronia syrup. The honey and aronia used also come from local producers in Neamț.
