"WALKING" THROUGH THE CENTRAL AREA

PREAMBLE: All the "step by step" routes presented in our application start from the heart of the city (The Royal Court) and return here, regardless of whether the route is linear or circular. Also, we start from the premise that the tourist attractions of the Royal Court have been visited beforehand: the Tower of Stephen the Great with the Royal Church "Sfântul Ioan Domnesc" and the two cellars, but also the Museums of Art, Ethnography and Cucuteni Neolithic Art.

DIRECTIONS AND ORIENTATION: This tourist route will take you through the center of our city, visiting or simply admiring some of the most representative attractions of Piatra-Neamț. You will start from the Tower and go down on Decebal Boulevard to the Railway Station, a truly emblematic building. You will then continue for a short section on 9 Mai Boulevard in the direction of the Căprioara bridge, after which you will return to the center following the path of Mihai Eminescu Boulevard to M. Kogălniceanu Square (in the first phase), and then to the Central Park. The route will end at the wooden Synagogue, a seemingly insignificant construction, but which is considered the oldest in the whole country.

DISTANCE AND TIME: 4km (circular route) / 1h actual walking, 3-4h with visits and breaks.

FOOD & DRINK OFFER: Use the EAT & DRINK section of the app to find and choose locations near the route, in case you want to have a meal or a drink.
